Cirque de Fuego is made up of husband and wife team, Chris & Kim Cleary, Tiffany Cross, and Olin Davis. Chris is a Vermont native who has been sculpting stone for over 15 years. He soon ventured into building steampunk copper & brass sculptures, as well as burning sculptures after going to Burning Man in 2009 with a team of Vermonters who built a driving ferris wheel. That experience began to shape his art in more ways than he could have ever imagined. He longs to bring that same vibe to the rest of the outside world.
Kim moved to Vermont from Delaware in 1998, and has background in non-profit agriculture work. She joined forces with Chris in 2013 to further fuel their love of fire art, and handles most of the logistics for each event.
Together, they have built 25 burning sculptures since 2011. Cirque de Fuego creates a custom fire experience by melding both visual & performing arts. From entrancing fire performers, to the ignition of the sculpture, each event serves as an extraordinary exhibit of artistry.
